Instances Averaging Low CPU

This bot identifies compute instances that have been averaging a low CPU over a defined period of time measured in hours. By default, the bot tracks instances that have been averaging CPU within a given range (between 0% and 4% CPU) and over 336 hours (14 days), but criteria can be adjusted. This bot supports Amazon Web Services (AWS) only through the use of its CloudWatch metrics.

Recommended Action

Notify the instance owner of the low CPU usage. Consider using the resize capability in TRiA to decrease the number of cores available to process the workload.
