Instance Cores Exceeded

This bot identifies instances whose number of cores exceed a user-defined value (default value is 4 cores). This bot can be useful when there is a concern that someone may launch an overly capable, i.e., expensive, instance.

Recommended Action

Contact the instance owner to determine the core requirement is justified and, if not, use the resize capability in to decrease the number of cores in the instance.
